Many recreational facilities have noise problems that compromise the use of the space. GYMNASIUMS, NATATORIUMS, aerobic and exercise rooms often experience high noise levels and the accompanying distortion that makes instruction and conversation difficult.

Multi-use space often cannot be used effectively for meetings, banquets or any auditorium type of function. The office space, although small, may still be a less than pleasant place to work.
